Arthur Davis, along with Amanda Barclay, Bill Brown, Anne Marie Carrie and Tanya Jamil, have undertaken research into the unique, collaborative approach to meeting the educational and therapeutic needs of the children at Frederick Hugh House, a special school for children with complex learning difficulties, where Bill Brown, Chairman of The Education Partnership, is the Education Officer and a Trustee. You can read a copy of the report by clicking here.

Frederick Hugh House is an independent special school established in January 2010. Its aim is to provide the best possible school environment in which children with complex learning difficulties and/or physical difficulties can be taught a specially adapted broad-based curriculum while receiving the highest standards of individuated professional therapeutic support.

The research seeks to detail the collaborative approach taken by Frederick Hugh House. It is intended to show how the school’s distinct approach to SEND provision is leading to remarkable progress by its pupils, and is setting new standards for what can and should be achieved by specialist schools.
